Video Project Outline

In a group of 3 or 4, make a yoga exercise video that applies to a specific sport or special need.  For example, what type of poses would be beneficial for basketball players?  What about someone with a sore back?  For more information look in a yoga book or online.  Make sure you site your sources.  Video cameras may be signed out from the library.

Your yoga video must include:   Active participation of everyone in your group
Review of two poses and an introduction of two new poses.
Note special safety cautions for each pose.
Video should be 10-15 minutes in length.

* marks will be broken down as follows: 5pts for participation (group will assess each other), 10 pts for correct demonstration/explaination of poses, 5 pts for set up and safety, and lastly 5 pts for creativity.

Note: Students who are unable to or choose not to make a video may perform the poses and teach the class live.
